FEEDING STREET KIDS & HOMELESS IN CHINGOLA, ZAMBIA (Oct 2018)

Picture shows some of the 185 street children and other vulnerable kids that came for a meal and fellowship.

They were also given some new clothes and shoes that were sent from the UK.

With the majority of the population unemployed, many of these children come from the teeming shanties where everyone is in desperate need.

They try to eke out a living, and ward off hunger and abuse from adults and so end up on the streets.

Life for the kids on the streets is like that of a fly — get rid of them, they spread disease!!

A COW FOR ROMANIA

His name is Hogman Emilian Vasile, the father of three children.

Neither he nor his wife have any jobs.

Their whole income is 120.00 RON per month; money that the government offers on the basis of the three children. The family live in a village about 20 km north of Dej.

He finds work on a day to day basis whenever he can find opportunities. They own a house which needs much maintenance work.

As can be seen from this description, the family were ideal candidates for the 'Farmer Project'

Through the contributions from the Kilmarnock CASE Shop we were able to provide the family with a cow.

Not only will this enable them to provide milk for their family but will also teach them how to maintain livestock and allow them to develop necessary farming skills thus ensuring their ongoing well-being.

BAKERIES FOR ALBANIA AND ROMANIA (2001)

Not the best area of Albania, but nevertheless an area of one of these properties was cleared and fitted out with equipment delivered from the UK purchased with CASE Shop donations to transform it into a working and productive bakery.

Pictured is one of the Albanian locals who now works in the bakery with his latest batch of bread produced on the premises.

CASE have been able to build 5 bakeries. There are 3 in Albania and 2 in Romania. Among them they provide employment for 73 local people and provide much needed food for the people in their locality.

The bakeries are now all self-sufficient. However, without your help and contributions they wouldn't even be there.

CHRISTMAS BOXES FOR MOLDOVA (1999)

Van loads of Christmas gift boxes purchased by donations from the UK and delivered personally to Moldova.

These boxes contained an assortment of children's clothes, toys, sweets, books in their own language and other gifts according to age and gender.

Also shown is a group of children from Moldova with their new clothes.

These children were able to enjoy these gifts, all thanks to those of you who support CASE.

Isn't it amazing how something so small can bring so much happiness to these children.

Jesus said, 'Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto Me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.'  (Matt 19:14)

A LAND ROVER FOR ALBANIA

One of the early projects undertaken by CASE was providing and delivering a Land Rover to Albania.

Due to the poor condition of the roads in the country a 4-wheel drive vehicle was an essential requirement.

This was purchased and driven to Albania and presented to them.
